New Birding Guide for Lehigh Valley and Vicinity

Hey all you birders! We at The RoseMary Inn are happy to announce the newest addition to our library, Birds of the Lehigh Valley and Vicinity. First published in 2002, this guidebook is a 192-page overview of birds that live in or have visited the region. Peter Saenger, its lead author and primary designer, serves as curator for Muhlenberg College's Acopian Center for Ornithology, a museum that features over 3,000 taxidermy specimens of birds from around the globe. Saenger is also the president of the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society so he definitely knows his birds. We are only minutes away from the Lehigh area so come check out a red-tailed hawk or a ruby-throated hummingbird, maybe even an Iceland gull if you're lucky and enjoy a pleasant night's stay away from home.
